The exciting expansion of the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale is nearing the end of its upgrade and expansion. This construction project will allow the center to offer even more facilities for corporate events and expos. The project has now completed the first phase of construction. The convention center was originally opened in October 2021. The recent updates included in this project have modernized the existing 800,000 square feet, while expanding with an additional 350,000 square foot exhibit hall. This expansion has taken the Broward County Convention Center to a whole new level, offering waterfront ballrooms, meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, and a waterfront plaza. The convention center is expected to be fully completed late 2025, giving the facility over 1.2 million square feet of space.
